R3P2D3~Elimination

Well, it's time for the process of elimination. While I am still losing, it is not at the rate that I did the first time on the protocol. There are a few things I need to cross off my list as I try to determine the cause. Today I am 204.7, down only .3 again. My average losses over 3 days is still 1.1 pounds, but I'm still not as low as I should be. So, here is the list:

* Reduce protein shakes to 1/2 serving in the am and pm rather than a whole
* Make sure calories are 700 or below
* Calories may need to be at 500 if 700 doesn't work
* Switch from oral hcg to injections
* Stop exercising so much
* Drink more fluids/aim for ketosis
* Get more sleep
* Change soap to bar goat's milk
* Change from egg protein to whey protein (used whey in R1)
* Test the hcg for potency, order new if necessary (some discussion on the boards about how they are now including ice packs in the shipments. Wondering if somehow too many people's hcg got to them after being exposed to too much heat and it wasn't working properly)

Those are the things that could be hindering the losses. I will push through this frustration and realize that I am still losing, the scale is still moving in the right direction, and I CAN figure out the cause. So, I sit here with 1/2 the protein shake serving to start out the day. I can say, I've not really been ravenously hungry which is good. Then again, my calories are higher than they should be. They were nearly 800 yesterday so it's definitely time to cut back. Some people have succeeded on 1000 calories while doing the hcg, but it doesn't seem that will work for me. I have a lot of theories floating around in my brain and I realize this is a fine science so if all else fails, do it the way Dr. Simeon's instructed and ONLY exactly as he instructed. That means injections, 500 calories, etc.

So, I suppose that is it for now. Until tomorrow.....
